Who’s Your Ma Honey? is an emotionally rich exploration of “undeserved shame” — the mix of unjustified guilt and unwarranted stigma that often acts as a silent barrier to personal and financial growth. Through raw and courageous storytelling, the show helps guests and listener s transform this silence into a source of ultimate superpower: the resilience and leadership skills needed to build generational wealth and economic empowerment.
The philosophy of the show is rooted in the personal journey of host Teri Williams. Despite her success as an Ivy League graduate and bank president, Williams realized she had buried the memory of her great-grandmother, Annie “Ma Honey” Coachman, due to undeserved shame regarding her small-town, segregated South origins.
