A source of funding for the fastest-growing demographic of entrepreneurs in our country is under attack. The Black-owned venture capital firm investing in women of color, Fearless Fund, is being sued for alleged “reverse discrimination”.

On June 29, 2023, the United States Supreme Court struck down race based affirmative action in college admissions. What does this mean and importantly, what can we do about it? Here are 4 ways we can fight back!

Whether we can believe it or not, it has been ten years since #BlackLivesMatter was first used on social media platforms, exclaimed by millions of peaceful protestors, and used as a rallying cry for social justice. From July 2013, Black Lives Matter, the simple, yet powerful message, has become a global movement that is even more relevant today. Let’s not be deterred or discouraged but move forward in unity!

On this Juneteenth, we not only celebrate, but we also ACTIVATE our allies, our communities, and our nation! Although reparations will address history, more immediate change is possible if this day of remembrance is seen as a calling card for action!
