Happy Father’s Day! Today is the day to shower dads with love, spend time together and create memories. As the largest Black-owned bank, we have a message to our dads who make the world a brighter place!

For Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s focus on improving Black mental health. As the largest Black owned bank in the country, our hope in highlighting this topic is to further break the stigma and provide actionable steps to put better Black mental health into practice.

OneUnited Bank is sponsoring the 13th annual financial literacy contest for youth between the ages of 8 – 12 years old. Simply either write and submit a 250-word essay (250 words not 250 characters) or create and submit an art project (PDF only) about what you learned from the book “I Got Bank!” (or from another financial literacy book available in your library or home) and how you can use what you learned in your life or the life of your family.

What’s the 411 on artificial intelligence (AI) art? How far is too far in surrendering our creativity to technology? And as the nation’s largest Black owned bank, we ask, “Where does ownership come into play?” Are Black artists being honored or exploited?

This Black History Month, we are tapping into the lifeblood of our excellence…creativity!
