Our History
At OneUnited Bank, our story spans over five decades of transformative impact. Founded during the civil rights movement of the 1960s, we began as a beacon of hope, offering financial services to underserved communities. Over the years, we’ve grown into the nation’s largest Black-owned bank, pioneering digital banking for over 20 years.
